AS I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION NOW THO I JUST QUICKLY WANT TO SAY-NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE--S&B s3/SOC Spinoff/or(?)--I JUST LOVE THIS CAST AND CREW. THEY CARE SO MUCH ABOUT US AND THESE CHARACTERS AND EVENTS LIKE THESE SHOW ALL THE LOVE. so i’m just so grateful. and so happy for everyone who could go to Paris and meet/chat/take a pic with them. And for everyone who could not-i mean-thank you for sharing SO MUCH with the rest of us. i love our community, even if the entire grishaverse can argue or fight about stupid shit, we love these books and these stories, and THIS CAST love them as well♥

there is something just stunning about how freddy managed to hit the bullseye with kaz this season like from his chilling monologue in episode 4 to his packed silences while just looking at inej to the sly humor in “everyone has lost their minds” to his facial expressions when getting the shit beat out of him??? he completely took over the season and aced every hidden kernel of kaz

The way shadow and bone prologue ends with these lines:

The boy and the girl glanced at each other and, because the adults were not paying close attention, they did not see the girl reach out to clasp the boy’s hand or the look that passed between them.

And the ruin and rising epilogue ends with this line:

They had an ordinary life, full of ordinary things—if love can ever be called that.

Malina truly a ship for intellectual people.

I feel like we don’t really talk about David threatening to kill someone for Genya enough. I mean, yes, it’s recognized as one of his peak moments, but I mean beyond “Aw, that’s so sweet of him.”

This is David Kostyk. He’s an inventor. His whole thing is to make new things. To create. He helped fight the epitome of destruction, so what’s the point of causing more destruction by taking someone’s life? It’s not antithetical to his character, but it’s also not the first thing I would ordinarily expect from him.

But then… we do know that David is extraordinarily blunt. We know that Baghra didn’t want to teach him out of fear of what he could become. And his friends don’t even seem all that surprised when he delivered the threat (they were all fairly aggravated; I digress).

This man absolutely meant what he said, and I firmly believe that if Yuri had offended Genya one more time, they would have found the body in 78 different strategically chosen locations
